David's Hours are: Monday and Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM-ish. Please keep in mind that David's schedule may be booked as far as three weeks in advance.

David Martin, owner, educator, stylist
David Martin started his styling career in Davis, Ca, 25 years ago, at J. Cunningham, and Co. A salon located in the historic Mansion Square building where his new salon, Cobalt Salon & Gallery, is now located. David studied haircutting for four years with the local legend, Bunny Jean Cunningham, in her eponymous salon. In the following 20 years David studied at the Paul Mitchell Academy, as well as mastering the arts of blade work, razor cutting, wet and dry styling and detailing, and the full range of color techniques at his previous salon All That/Hair Artistry. He has taught color education through Joico/ISO, International, but now focuses on teaching through Cobalt Salon & Gallery, and working full time behind the chair. David holds himself, and his staff, to the highest professional standards, and seeks continuing education whenever possible.
